First founded in 1986 by Pierre André Sénizergues at the end of his skateboarding career, he has created several shoe designs that have gained appeal in the skateboarding and BMX communities. They are currently based in Lake Forest, California, where they have also created the state’s largest skate park. etnies is a brand that continues to give back to its communities as well. For every pair of shoes etnies sells, etnies plants a tree in their honor. With over two million trees planted, they are fighting back against climate change.
